REFUGEE CRISIS IN MIDDLE EAST

ISIS has wreaked widespread violence and terror throughout the Middle East for far too long. They have scattered thousands from their homes, forcing them to traverse the perilous landscape - many with only the clothes on their backs.

These refugees long to return home.

But in order for them to go home, they first must survive another day.

The life and faith of these refugees hang precariously in the balance - how will you respond?

GET MOVING

Start your fundraiser today by following these simple steps:

Step 1: Create a Page

This will take only about five minutes and will give you a customized page to track progress towards your own personal fundraising progress. Get personal - explain why the refugee crisis is important and why you are getting involved.

Suggested fundraising goals:

  • A gift of $35 provides 1 refugee with food, relief supplies, medical attention, and educational support.
  • A gift of $210 provides 6 refugees with food, relief supplies, medical attention, and educational support.
  • A gift of $2,100 provides 60 refugees with food, relief supplies, medical attention, and educational support.

Also, be sure to create a unique URL. Use something short, and easy to remember so you can share it easily with your supporters.

Step 2: Spread the Word

Now that you've created your own fundraising page, it’s time to share your campaign with friends and family. Use your voice to spread the word through social media, e-mail, and word of mouth. Be intentional and creative—find a way to communicate the urgency of the situation in a way that compels others to join you.

Step 3: Update Your Supporters

The level of communication you maintain with your supporters directly correlates with your campaign momentum. If you’re halfway to your goal, let your supporters know!

When you’ve reached your goal, it’s ok to celebrate! Be sure to thank those who have helped you along the way. You’ve worked together to save many lives - that's something of eternal significance.
